I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I am so excited to have opened a satellite office in South Bound Brook! A lifelong resident of New Jersey, I was born in Rahway and grew up in Princeton Junction. I graduated from West Windsor-Plainsboro High School and then enrolled in Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA.  I attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, where I completed my Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 1993. I joined Rahway Dental Group in 1993 and became a partner in 1994. In 1997, I also joined the Dental Division of Robert Wood Johnson Hospital at Rahway. I am a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, and Union County Dental Society, and I was recently awarded a Fellowship of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) in 2017. 

 

I have always been focused on reaching out to communities in need. When I first became a dentist, I worked with terminally ill patients at an AIDS Hospice in New York City, where I provided pro bono dental care. Later in my career, I went on to establish and volunteer at a dental clinic and orphanage in Criscior, Romania. Then, from 2008 until 2016, I volunteered as a mentor to at-risk youth for Urban Impact. I also helped to establish a dental clinic in association with the Zarephath Health Center, where I continued to serve families by operating a free dental clinic until 2020. With a heart for adoption and foster care, my wife and I founded Miriam's Heart local non-profit that serves adopted and foster children and their families.

• The office location recently changed to a wonderful updated handicapped accessible suite!

• The phone number remains the same. Call us today with all of your dental needs. 

• Compassionate and personalized dental care that you are accustomed to.

• Digital upgrade - We will offer digital X-rays and chartless patient management systems. Digital X-rays allow for better diagnostic ability and decreased exposure to radiation. Once on the screen, digital X-rays can be enlarged or magnified for a better visual of the tooth's structure. We will also be bringing a chartless patient management system - both are better for the environment and will improve your experience at the dentist.

• Hygiene - We’ve got an incredible, friendly, and skilled hygienist team providing you with professional teeth cleanings.

• Panorex x-ray - We’re installing a digital panoramic x-ray machine for full mouth imaging and comprehensive diagnosis ability.

• Insurance - We're participating with major insurance companies and also offering the SBB Smile Club!

Last but not least, as much as I love being a dentist, I am most proud to call myself a husband and dad to my five amazing kids. My wife, Elizabeth, would probably tell you I most enjoy watching (aka napping) during a good ball game on a Sunday afternoon or a day spent at the shore, and she would be right.
